NATHAN TECH ACCESSIIF END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
================================================

Updated: 7 August 2026

1. INTRODUCTION
---------------

This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding agreement
between you ("the User") and Nathan Tech ("the Company") governing your use
of AccessiIf and the software, documentation and other materials distributed
with it (collectively, the "Package").

By installing, copying, extracting, accessing or otherwise using the Package,
you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this
Agreement.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Package.

2. DEFINITIONS
--------------

Company
    Nathan Tech.

User
Any individual or legal entity using the Package.

AccessiIf Software
Software and documentation owned by Nathan Tech and distributed as part
    of AccessiIf.

Third-Party Components
Software, libraries, interpreters, compilers, tools, assets or other
materials included with or used by AccessiIf which are owned or licensed
    by third parties.

Package
The AccessiIf Software together with any Third-Party Components,
documentation, installers, archives and related materials distributed
    with AccessiIf.

3. ACCESSIIF LICENCE
--------------------

Subject to this Agreement, Nathan Tech grants you a non-exclusive,
non-transferable licence to install and use the AccessiIf Software.

You may install and use the AccessiIf Software on devices owned or controlled
by you unless different terms are expressly provided with a particular
edition or distribution.

This Agreement applies only to material owned by Nathan Tech.

Third-Party Components are governed by their own applicable licence terms as
described in Section 5.

4. RESTRICTIONS ON NATHAN TECH MATERIAL
---------------------------------------

Except where permitted by applicable law or expressly authorised in writing
by Nathan Tech, you may not:

- Redistribute, sell, sublicense, rent, lease or otherwise distribute the
proprietary AccessiIf Software owned by Nathan Tech.

- Include substantial portions of the proprietary AccessiIf Software within
another product, service, installer, archive or repository.

- Remove or alter copyright, trademark or attribution notices belonging to
  Nathan Tech.

- Claim ownership of Nathan Tech intellectual property.

- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble proprietary compiled components
owned by Nathan Tech except where such restrictions are prohibited by
  applicable law.

- Copy or reuse artwork, audio, text, graphics or other proprietary assets
owned by Nathan Tech except where expressly permitted.

These restrictions DO NOT apply to Third-Party Components where the
applicable third-party licence grants rights to copy, modify, redistribute,
reverse engineer or otherwise use that component.

Nothing in this Agreement is intended to restrict any right granted under an
applicable open-source or third-party licence.

5. THIRD-PARTY AND OPEN-SOURCE COMPONENTS
-----------------------------------------

The Package includes or may include Third-Party Components.

Those components remain the property of their respective copyright holders
and are governed solely by their respective licence terms.

Where this Agreement conflicts with the licence governing a Third-Party
Component, the third-party licence controls with respect to that component.

Third-Party Components distributed with AccessiIf may include, among others:

- Frotz / dfrotz, distributed under the GNU General Public License applicable
  to the bundled build.

- Inform, distributed under the Artistic License 2.0 except where otherwise
  stated by its copyright holders.

- Inform 6, distributed by Nathan Tech under the Artistic License 2.0 option
provided by the Inform 6 licence.

- Glulxe, distributed under the MIT License.

- RemGlk, distributed under the MIT License.

Additional third-party libraries or components may be identified in the
licence and attribution files supplied with the Package.

Copies of applicable licences and required notices are provided in the
licences or documentation distributed with AccessiIf.

Nothing in this Agreement removes, limits or replaces rights granted to you
under those licences.

6. FROTZ SOURCE CODE AND GPL RIGHTS
-----------------------------------

AccessiIf may include a modified build of Frotz or dfrotz.

That component is free software distributed under the GNU General Public
License applicable to that build.

Recipients retain all rights granted by that licence, including applicable
rights to copy, redistribute and modify that component and to obtain its
corresponding source code.

The proprietary restrictions in this Agreement do not apply to Frotz or to
any other component to the extent that doing so would conflict with its
open-source licence.

Corresponding source code for the AccessiIf-modified Frotz build is supplied
with the Package or made available by Nathan Tech in accordance with the
applicable GNU General Public License requirements.

7. INFORM AND USER-CREATED WORKS
--------------------------------

AccessiIf may include portions of the Inform interactive-fiction toolchain
under their respective licences.

Nathan Tech does not claim ownership of Inform, Inform 6 or other third-party
compiler components.

Stories, source code, gamebooks, projects and other original works created by
a User using AccessiIf remain the property of their respective creator,
subject to any third-party material the creator independently includes in
such works.

Nathan Tech claims no ownership merely because a work was created, compiled,
built or exported using AccessiIf.

8. USER CONTENT
---------------

AccessiIf may allow Users to create, open, modify, compile, play or export
interactive-fiction projects, gamebooks and related files.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you create or distribute using
AccessiIf does not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable law.

Nathan Tech does not acquire ownership of your original project content
through your use of AccessiIf.

9. OWNERSHIP
------------

Nathan Tech retains all right, title and interest in the portions of the
Package owned by Nathan Tech, including applicable copyrights, trademarks,
trade secrets and other intellectual property rights.

Third-Party Components remain owned by their respective copyright holders.

No ownership rights in third-party software are claimed by Nathan Tech.

No ownership rights in a User's original works are transferred to Nathan
Tech under this Agreement.

10. UPDATES AND CHANGES
-----------------------

Nathan Tech may provide updates, corrections or new versions of AccessiIf.

An update may replace or modify previous versions of the AccessiIf Software.

Third-party components included in later versions may be added, removed or
updated and may be subject to different licence terms. Applicable licence
files supplied with that version form part of the licensing information for
that distribution.

11. TERMINATION
---------------

Your licence to the proprietary AccessiIf Software remains in effect until
terminated.

Nathan Tech may terminate the rights granted under this Agreement if you
materially breach its terms.

Upon termination you must cease use of proprietary Nathan Tech components
where required by this Agreement.

Termination of this Agreement does not terminate, revoke or reduce rights
independently granted to you under licences governing Third-Party Components.
Those rights continue according to their respective licence terms.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
--------------------------

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ACCESSIIF SOFTWARE IS
PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER
EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY.

NATHAN TECH DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES INCLUDING, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW,
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND
UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE WARRANTY TERMS AND DISCLAIMERS
CONTAINED IN THEIR RESPECTIVE LICENCES.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
---------------------------

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NATHAN TECH SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE USE
OF OR INABILITY TO USE ACCESSIIF.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability where such exclusion
or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

14. GOVERNING LAW
-----------------

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the
laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable,
the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
