Escape Rooms

Escape Rooms are player-created puzzles built by members of the Cosmic Rage community. Each escape room places you inside a unique environment filled with objects to examine, clues to discover and puzzles to solve. Some rooms are simple, while others may require careful observation, teamwork or creative thinking.

To begin, find an Escape Room Console somewhere in the game and type:

You will be presented with a list of available escape rooms. From there you can view information about each room, see whether anyone is currently playing, chat with players within an active escape room, or enter a room yourself.

Some escape rooms charge an entry fee, while others are free. The designer decides whether a room has an entry cost, a time limit, or a scoring system.


Playing



Once inside an escape room, take your time and explore. Some useful commands include:
L*ook
x
score: Displays information about your current escape room, including your score (if the room uses scoring), how long you've been inside, and any remaining time limit.
give-up: Leaves the escape room immediately. If the room charged an entry fee, it will not be refunded.
exit: Attempts to leave the escape room. This will only succeed once the puzzle has been solved.


Tips



Escape rooms reward careful observation.
Read descriptions carefully. Clues are often hidden in the text.
Examine every object. Even ordinary-looking items may have a purpose.
Look around the room regularly. Objects can change as puzzles are solved.
Pay attention to every message you receive. Sometimes solving one puzzle reveals a clue for another.
If you're stuck, try thinking about what the room is trying to tell you rather than simply trying every command.
Most importantly, have fun. Every escape room is designed by another player, so no two adventures are quite the same.
There is no shame in giving up and trying again later. Sometimes the best clue arrives after taking a short break.
