Host to Player Chats or HTPC's

1. When it is time for an HTPC, usually one or more subannouncements will be made.


1. You just type @htpc when the event begins to join and follow the prompts.


1. HTPCs are always out of character events.


1. Make sure you are not in a time-critical location (such as on a planet chunk) and that you have wrapped up any roleplay before joining.


1. SAY, EMOTE, and most socials are disabled to reduce spam while the HTPC is running.


1. Use the COMMENT command to speak during the HTPC.


1. Use the c-t command to view the current topic and @htpc to review the rules or topics.


1. When the event ends, simply return to your regular gameplay with @htpc command.


Important Topic Guidelines


• All topics must be submitted before the event begins. Submissions are closed during the event itself.


• Topics are meant for discussion and conversation, not for direct bug reports or specific feature suggestions.


• If you have bugs to report or a direct suggestion, please use the appropriate channels instead of HTPC topics.


Event Flow

HTPCs generally proceed in the following order:

• Player Brag: Players are invited to talk about their accomplishments, game-related or real-life. Whether you have found a new rp storyline in game or won the Nobel prize, let us know!


• Host Brag: Hosts will share behind-the-scenes updates, talk about projects, and sometimes share personal achievements or devlog-style updates.


• Topics: Selected topics, submitted before the HTPC, will be discussed.


• Cosmic rage time: Everyone talks about how Cosmic Rage makes them feel and how it has impacted them.

@events - Pull up the event manager.
@htpc - Review HTPC rules, join the event, and (before the event only) submit new topics.

in the HTPC Room

c-t - Review the current topic.
comment - Submit your comment to the hosts for approval.
