Sneaking, Hiding, and Searching

Sneaking

for as long as humans have existeed in the modern sense, so has the desire to sneak about and one-up each other. On Cosmic Rage where roleplay is king, we seek to put all the tools in your hands to do anything you want, including a series of covert stealthy things. to that end, we have the sneak and hide mechanics.
When a player sneaks, they use their stealth skill to attempt to evade the attention of players and monsters alike. If there are a bunch of vacus in a room, you might very well be able to sneak in and drop a landmine, nipping out before anyone even notices and attacks you. Likewise, if you're trying to evesdrop on your rivals, you could try sneaking into the room to see what's up, assuming your rivals like to have their private conversations in a location you have access to already.
The command is sneak, and typing it will toggle your sneaking on or off. If you type it with people in the room, they will know you are there since you can't just pooof into non-existance and not have people wonder where you've gone. Several actions you might take will disrupt your sneaking, however, such as drawing attention to yourself by speaking, emoting, socialing, or attacking. Otherwise, if you're careful, you have a chance to be quite the menace to polite society.
Before you sneaky fellows go running away with the idea that sneaking just makes you invisible and intangible, keep in mind that sneaking does not grant you access to pass locked or closed doors, biometric scanners, passcoders, or any of the many methods for guarding an exit. It only allows you to enter a room with a chance of being unseen. If there are two or less players in the room, your chances of successfully sneaking in go down by quite a lot since logically, there's less to distract those within.

Hidden Exits

Following along with the thread of concealment, it is possible for players to hide exits on their factories and houses. Simply type edit-f and select the option to make the exit hidden. This is less a safe guard such as a biometric scanner and more a method to make a subtle exit accessible by pulling on a bookshelf or moving a painting aside.
you can edit how difficult it is to find the exit and the message that people see when they find the exit. From there on, your exit messages do the heavy lifting.
For example, you could make an east exit in a library hidden until the person searches the room. When they find the exit, they see a message about finding a particular book on the bookshelf that seems to be weighted oddly. If you then set the exit messages for that east exit to be that you pull a random book on the shelf and it revolves, taking you out of sight, you have yourself a classic Agatha Christie secret passage on your hands.

Search and Reveal

Okay, so we have ways to hide exits, and we have ways to hide ourselves. Does that leave us poor mortals defenseless and blind in the world, unable to defend ourseles against rogues hiding behind secret doors?
The Search command is your weapon against ignorance. Simply type it in a room where you suspect there might be a hidden exit or a sneaky person, and you will commence a thorough search of the area.
What you can find:
  1. Hidden objects.

    1. Hiding players.

      1. Secret exits.

      2. Once you know of these things in the room, you can reveal them to others in the room using the reveal command.
If you type reveal and you know of its existance, everyone else in the room will suddenly know of it without having to roll any skill checks.
Typing reveal will allow you to force a hiding person to reveal themselves. What everyone does with them after is up to them.

        Commands

        sneak: Toggle your sneaking ability.
edit-f : Access the menu to make an exit hidden.
search: Search a room for hidden things.
Reveal : Reveal a hidden exit or player to everyone in the room.
