ignore
Incidents happen, and we get it here in Cosmic Rage. Sometimes, you just want to take a break from someone - maybe their messages are a bit much, or you simply prefer some peace and quiet. That's where the 'ignore' command comes in.
This command is your handy tool for managing interactions. It lets you ignore and unignore specific players in both in-character and out-of-character ways. For example, if you block someone out of character, they won't be able to send you friend requests or message you through any out-of-character channels, including private messages. If you ignore someone in character, only that particular character is affected - they won't appear in your IC chats, but other characters of theirs can still talk to you normally.
A quick clarification: ignoring someone out of character applies to their whole account, so you won't see their out of character messages across the board. Ignoring in character only affects the specific character you choose. This helps keep the game immersive and prevents accidental disruptions.
Even if you ignore someone out of character, you can still see their messages in in-character channels. So, you're not missing out on the roleplay, just the out-of-character chatter. If someone tries to misuse this feature - for example trying to reach out to you through in character ways when you have blocked them out of character - please report it, and we'll handle it swiftly.
And here's a neat bonus: when you ignore someone out of character, they won't be notified - they're silently removed from your friend list. It's a discreet way to manage your interactions without drama or awkwardness.
In short, the ignore command gives you control, peace of mind, and a smoother roleplaying experience. Whether you need a break or want to keep things simple, it's there to help. After all, cosmic peace is just a command away.
