black boxes
In real life, a black box is a small box usually in airplanes that can be salvaged from the wreckage.
They usually contain logs of the flights that the craft did, including launches, landings, refueling and more.
On Cosmic Rage, we've taken this idea and turned it slightly on its head.
When flying in your starship it is possible to log your journey. Much like the good Captains from startrek, or admirals[Janeway] you can use the log command to make a captains log.
How it works:
- Type log, followed by what you would like to log.
- When your ship is destroyed, head over to the black box machine on Star Command and use it to retrieve your black box.
- View, or stop, the black box to review the log.

This will store a log of the date, and time, that you start, and will write down what ever you say.
Note: Black boxes must be retrieved in the first 24 hours after the ships destruction, otherwise the data is lost.
