This help file will list common problems encountered during sound pack installation and the methods to resolve them.
Problem: I cannot seem to install Github Portable; it is not working.
Fix: Please check the logs generated by the installer. The file is usually called github setup.log. If the last entry relates to downloading Github, then it is still downloading. You should allow it to finish, as the download speed is somewhat slow.

Problem: I don't hear any sounds. What can I do?
Fix 1: Try pressing Shift + F1; this may turn your sounds on.
VipMud Fix 2: If you are using VipMud, ensure that the folder c:\users\user\documents\vip mud\Cosmic Rage exists and contains the files cosmic rage.set, loader.set, and that these files are not empty. Also, verify that in your character setup, the mud name is spelled Cosmic Rage with a capital C and a capital R.
Problem: My update process fails for some reason.
Fix: If you are using Mush Client or Vip Mud, launch repair_tool.bat, which can be found in the same folder as updater.bat and installer.bat. It should reset your repositories to the last commit and restore normal functionality in case something breaks, such as due to a poor internet connection or other issues.
Problem: The scripts I am using are not working, including git installer.bat, installer.bat, and updator.bat.
Fix: If you are trying to run installer.bat or updator.bat, please make sure that Git Portable is extracted in the same folder as the sound pack. To do this, use the Git installer.bat file. If installer.bat still does not work, ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the repository. If the issue persists, try running the scripts as an administrator.
Problem: My VIPMUD soundpack doesn't work, what can I do?
fix: check if c:\user\username\documents\vip mud\cosmic rage\cosmic rage.set is not empty, if it is: paste the following lines into the file and restart your client:
