Here is a list of major galactic events:
- First commercial space flight to Earth's nearest space station.

- Star Command project begun.
- First military ships launched.
- Businesses began to spring up, such as the salvaging market.
- the credit system was adopted as a global currency system.
- Whisperings of strange creatures reached the ears of Command Leader Durmats.
- Small podlike ships (Caitsa race) began mounting attacks on human civilian starships.
- The draconic race was discovered.
- Vacus discovered.
- Vacus war began.
- The first Ryuchi was born.
- Ryuchi were declared outlaws of the draconic race and hidden by humans as a result.
- Droidic race discovered.
- Shalka first spotted on Navu, Ryuchi were blamed.
- The war with the droids began.
- The Battle of Coltsvahr, in which draconic, Ryuchi, and human races banded together to repel the Shalka.
- Dragons accepted Ryuchi again.
- Cy-larkan race discovered in the Purding galaxy.
- stomping defeat of Vacus.
- Kaltz-baurgan race discovered.
- peace treaty signed with Vacus.
- Huge victory over the Droidic race.
- droidic fought back, 2 space stations destroyed.
- War with Kaltz-baurgan began after they took advantage of the humans.
- Vacus broke the treaty and humans swore the destruction of the Vacus race.
- The Great Star Disaster occurred.
- contact lost with certain planets.
- mysterious, unknown enemy, registering as the Embahi race, mounted an attack directly on Star Command, crippling its defenses. All 4 races pulled together and repelled the attack, if barely. Agreement signed to hunt the race down.
- Contact regained with sectors 1 through 30, though it is feared that sector 31 is lost forever and anything north was taken by the Kaltz-baurgan race.

2200-2210: Huge war with the Caitsa race. Human victory, barely.
2380-2385: Ryuchi civil war.
February 2491: The Mutariansi race was discovered with an alliance reached. They, however, have not officially been invited to join the Species Defense Force. Also rediscovered sectors 31 and 32.
July22nd 2491: Kayla Maryanne becomes first female Supreme commander
August 10th 2491: Supreme Commander position depricated in favour of modern chief General title.
August 2491: SDL and MI split into separate organisations though still under the banner of the SDF.
August 21st 2491: Shalka formally surrender.
December 2491: Maraquda declares second war against Goscro Krah
May 4th 2492: Upgrade Mania is destroyed by a droidic force
May 2492: Dragon Queen ends Maraquda Goscro Krah war.
July 2492: Pauagiwa race freed.
July 25th 2492: SDF outpost Theta15 renamed and a new base set up on it by MI forces.
April 2493: Droid race use slaver ships to capture several scientific engineers, as well as deploy new experimental biological plants in local sectors, causing chaos over a period of 5 days.
April 2493: Shalka nesting planet destroyed accidentally by destruction of droidic satellite. Shalka threaten war once again.
February 2494: Vacus successfully attack Star Command and begin the black star war on terror
July 2494: Vacus launch a ffull-scale invasion of local sectors, bypassing the front lines and necessitating a destruction of the star gate system. Mission Central is bombed beyond repair, and Tera Base is launched to replace it.
