Setting up an HTML file

• a text editter, like notepad, notepad++ or dream weaver. Not Microsoft word.
• It is recommended to have a folder for these tutorials, to keep everything neat and tidy.

1. Open a new document in your text editter.
2. Write your code
3. Save it. When saving, do one of the following:
• Type in your file name followed by .php, like this: bob.php, then click in the save as type and click all files.
• Type the name of your file, followed by .php, but put it in quotes: "bob.php" then click save.
